Athlete Blog: Eric Wood

Hey ScoutingTheSports.com readers, Eric Wood here. I have been in Buffalo for the past two weeks and have two weeks of OTA’s left. They have been going great. I have been getting a lot better at my techniques and the transition to guard has been going well.
The coaches treat the players with a lot of respect and the players are all supportive of each other. Currently, I am rotating with the starting unit and I am hoping to earn a starting spot at some point before the start of the season. The city of Buffalo is a whole lot better than people make it out to be and the people here LOVE the Bills which is great.

Hey scoutingthesports.com viewers this is Eric Wood. I went to the University of Louisville and I played football for them too. Training out in southern California is great. I met a lot of great people and had a lot of great experiences. Athletes First takes care of us great. Living out here is something I will remember for the rest of my life. I have been so spoiled with nice meals and places that I don’t know what I am going to do when I get back to Louisville. Life was a lot more stressful out here before the combine because there was so much emphasis on all of the drills. Having that out of my way, I am glad that I did all I could while I was Indianapolis to help my chances of making a team. A few of my friends came out here last weekend and we were a bunch of out of place guys in Orange County, but we did our best to fit in. At this point, I am finishing up training for this week and then heading back to Louisville to start training there Monday. I can’t wait to see how my individual workouts for teams will affect my stock in the draft. Until next time, wish me luck because I have a feeling this it is going to continue to be an exciting ride.
