Rumors: Indians Trading Martinez and Lee?
As for trading Cliff Lee or Victor Martinez, the Indians would consider it, but the return would have to be staggering. More than anything, it would have to ensure that the Indians would at least be competitive next year. What team in its right mind would make a deal that not only ruins what remains of this season, but next season as well? Teams have expressed interest, but nothing has caught Mark Shapiro’s fancy.
